ESRI representatives participated in a training program

Representatives of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) participated in a training program “Knowledge and capacity building in wine growing, large grain growing and seed growing, the most modern research methods in the competitiveness and selection of agricultural plants”

The training organized by the Agrarian Research Centre of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan took place from 3rd to 10th of April, 2023. The training held within the framework of Support for the Development of Competitive Fields in the Regions project as part of the Grant Program on Support of the Development of Regions was dedicated to the topic Knowledge and capacity building in wine growing, large grain growing and seed growing, the most modern research methods in the competitiveness and selection of agricultural plants.

The ESRI was represented at this even by Chief Research Fellow of Department of Local and International Cooperation, Natig Madatov, Leading Research Fellow of Department of Analysis of Economic Development Policy, Emil Gasimov and Research Fellow of Department of Analysis of Digitalization, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policy, Parvin Idrisli.

The training featured extensive discussions around the topics such as The State Support to the Agrarian Policy in the EU Countries and the USA, General Agricultural Policy, Value Chain in Wine Growing and Value Chain in Grain Growing and etc.
