On August 30th, 2023, a meeting between representatives of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) and the Azerbaijan Investment Holding (AIH) took place. The goal of the meeting was to discuss opportunities for cooperation in different areas.
The meeting was attended by Advisor to the Minister of Economy, Rauf Najafli, Chairman of the Board of The ESRI, Mahir Humbatov, Chief Research Fellow of Department of Local and International Cooperation of The ESRI, Natig Madatov, Leading Research Fellow of Department of Quality Control and Planning, Shukur Guliyev, Specialist of Department of Finance, Supplies and Work with Documentation, Aydan Akhundova and an international expert, Kamran Malikov.
On behalf of AIH the meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Anar Novruzov, Head of Strategic Management Department, Nizami Yusifli, Senior Specialist of Department of Strategic Management, Hikmat Gasimli and other employees.
During the course of the meeting the sides exchanged views around issues such as application of corporate standards, transparency of reports and raising the effectiveness of investments.
Also, the issues of joint activity of the AIH and The ESRI within the framework of cooperation between the AIH and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development were also discussed.
In the end, the parties agreed to develop and realize practical proposals for determination of directions for perspective cooperation in the nearest future.
