Chairman of the Board of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) Mahir Humbatov was Head of Azerbaijani Delegation consisting of representatives from the Centre for Economic and Social Development, the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication and the Ministry of Economy.

As part of the forum M. Humbatov together with Head of Department of Turkmenistan’s Cabinet of Ministers, Vepa Gurbanov and advisor on Economic Policy of the President of Tajikistan Mahmadi Mullayev joined the dinner at the invitation of Chairman of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Erkin Tuniyaz. In the course of the dinner the Chairman welcomed the guests and sincerely conversed with them. Afterwards, E. Tuniyaz called on the Azerbaijani companies to work more closely with Xinjiang and invited them to take part in China-Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo and Tianshan Forum which have been held annually in Urumqi since 2010.
