During the forum a number of exhibitions, round tables and meetings were held.

Chairman of the Board of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) Mahir Humbatov was the head of the Azerbaijani delegation consisting of representatives from the Centre for Economic and Social Development, the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication and the Ministry of Economy.

As part of the forum M. Humbatov together with the heads of delegations from other countries, namely with the Head of Department of Turkmenistan’s Cabinet of Ministers, Vepa Gurbanov, Advisor on the Economic Policy of the President of Tajikistan Mahmadi Mullayev attended the opening ceremony of the China Eurasia Commodity and Trade Expo and Tianshan Forum held annually in Urumqi since 2010. Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the China’s Communist Party and Secretary of China’s Communist Party of Xinjiang, Ma Xingrui, Chairman of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Erkin Tuniyaz, Vice Minister of Commerce and Deputy of China International Trade Representative, Ling Ji, Chair of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Zhaparov, Deputy Prime-Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Zhumangarin, Chair of the Board of Directors of Bank of China, Ge Haijiao, President of China Development Institute Fan Gang and Director of the CAREC Institute, Kabir Jurazoda attended the opening ceremony.
