The 29th Annual Conference of EuroMemo Group titled European Economists for an Alternative Economic Policy in Europe took place from the 27th to the 28th of September 2023 in Naples, Italy.
The event held on the topic War, the Climate Catastrophe and the Crisis of Social Reproduction: How should the EU cope with the polycrisis? discussed the deep impact of recent wars and escalating geopolitical tensions, climate and biodiversity catastrophe, the cost-of-living crisis and deepening social and global inequalities for the future of the EU.
During the different sessions of the abovementioned conference the articles sent from reputable European organizations and universities containing policy recommendations were discussed and views on the future proposals for real policy making were exchanged.
Among the circulated articles an article by Junior Research Fellow of the Department for the Analysis of Macroeconomic Policy of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) Afraim Mammadov .written for the EuroMemo Group and titled New Energy Provider of Europe: Azerbaijan was presented.
