On September 27th, 2023, Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Analysis of Economic Development Policy Elsever Latfili, Junior Research Fellow of the Department of Analysis of Digitalization, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policy Vugar Abbasov and Junior Research Fellow of the Department of Analysis of Macroeconomic Policy of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) Afraim Mammadov met with employees of the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting the NISS was represented by Deputy Director Ermek Checheybayev, Head of the Center for Economic Research of NISS Asel Dzhailova, Head of the Center for Research of State Projects of NISS Kamilya Irgebaeva and researcher Dzhanyl Shamyrkanova.
First off, E. Checheybayev spoke of the history, activity directions and the works undertaken by the NISS since 2022. He brought to the attention of The ESRI representatives that the NISS participates in strategically important issues, including in the defining of policy directions, development of reports for the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Afterwards E. Latifli dwelt on the history, activity directions of The ESRI, works carried after it became public legal entity, as well as its cooperation with international entities and organizations, the works implemented both for public and private sectors. E. Latifli also brought to the attention of the NISS employees the ways The ESRI contributes to the projects implemented in the Azerbaijani territories liberated from the occupation.
During the meetings possible directions of cooperation between the two institutes were discussed.
In the end a commemorative photo was taken.
