On October 5th, 2023 a meeting with a delegation from the ECO Trade and Development Bank took place at the Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI).
The delegation made of the Vice-President of the ECO Trade and Development Bank Mehdi Kasraipur, Vice-President for Loans Sheryar Taj and Chief of the Policy and Compliance Department Fazli Sak was led by the President of the Bank Yalchin Yuksel.
First off Yalchin Yuksel touched on the projects and works carried out by the bank.
Chairman of the Board of The ESRI Mahir Humbatov spoke of the ECO Economic Journal where The ESRI serves as the editor-in-chief. He provided extensive information about the 8th issue of the journal which is envisaged for publication this year and brought to the attention the contract signed with the ECO Trade and Development Bank in this regard. Also, M.Humbatov expressed his gratitude for the financial support rendered by the ECO Trade and Development Bank for the publication of the journal.
In the course of the meeting a presentation was made about The ESRI`s activities, implemented projects, the ECO Research Centre and the ECO Economic Journal/
In his turn, Y. Yuksel expressed his gratitude to The ESRI for the publication of the journal and for raising its reputation and dwelt on the successful works carried out in this regard. He also expressed hope that they will continue their cooperation with The ESRI in the future.
