On October 11th, the Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications hosted a joint meeting of the working groups responsible for the Global Innovation Index.
The Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) was represented at the meeting by the First Deputy Chair of the Board, Professor Arzu Huseynova, Junior Research Fellow of the Department of the Analysis of Economic Development Policy, Habiba Jabbarova and Junior Research Fellow of the Department of the Analysis of Digitalization, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policy, Karim Hajiyev.
During the meeting the parties exchanged views in respect to the general situation, the results obtained and the tasks in hand in regards to the Global Innovation Index. It was noted that compared with previous year Azerbaijan advanced by four positions based on the Global Innovation Index.
The meeting continued with discussions.
