ESRI representative attended CCAMTAC workshop in Kazakhstan
Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) was represented at the CCAMTAC workshop by Leading Research Fellow of Quality Control and Planning Department, Shukur Guliyev.

From the 16th to the 19th of October 2023 a workshop on the topic “Strategic, Organizational and Legal Approaches to Anti-Corruption” was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The workshop organized by  Caucasus, Central Asia and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Centre  of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) took place in a hybrid format.

The workshop was attended by the representatives of the ministries of finance and justice, financial intelligence services, central banks and anti-corruption agencies of the participating countries.

Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) was represented at the event by Leading Research Fellow of Quality Control and Planning Department, Shukur Guliyev.

The opening remarks were delivered by IMF CCAMTAC director, Norbert Furke and Head of the Governance and Anti-Corruption Division of IMF Emmanuel Mathias.

The workshop continued with the instruction of the theoretical part and discussion of case studies.
