Since the 15th of October, 2022 within the framework of the grant project on joint collaboration between “British Petroleum” and Ekvita, “Scientific metric skills: research methods and tools" training on the implementation of the article 14th of the Roadmap for 2022 of the subgroup on "Improvement of International Rating Indicators (H index) related to scientific publications" of the "Technology and Innovation" working group of the Azerbaijan Republic's Business Environment and International Ratings Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and also held in connection with the development of digital skills of researchers was completed at the ESRI on December 3rd.
The training organized on the initiative of Fariz Jafarov, head of the aforementioned subgroup, and director of the "E-Government Development Center" public legal entity, lasted for 30 days. Within the framework of the training, the first deputy Chair of the Board of Directors of ESRI, doctor of economic sciences prof. Arzu Huseynova and Head of the Department of Additional Education of Azerbaijan State University of Economics, economics scientist, Emin Garibli featured as the trainers on the "Research Methods" and "Acquaintance with the Scientific Metric Market and Creation of Profiles" modules.
At the end of the training, a certificate presentation ceremony was held on December 5th. Chairman of ESRI's Board of Directors, Mahir Humbatov, First Deputy Chairman of ESRI's Board of Directors, Doctor of Economic Sciences, prof. Arzu Huseynova, partner of Ekvita, Farid Bakhshiyev and secretary of the aforementioned working group Nubar Huseynli participated at the event.
It should be noted that at the end of the training envisaged for doctoral students of higher education institutions, as well as for other stakeholders selected as participants by the Ministry of Education, relevant certificates were awarded to representatives of Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Baku Engineering University, and the ESRI.
