ESRI represented at the 7th session of the working group on public-private partnership of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE)
During the sessions, a decision was made to hold the 9th International Public-Private Partnership Forum in Baku in 2025.

The 7th session of the working group on public-private partnership of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) took place in Geneva, Switzerland from November 30th to December 1st, 2023.

During the session, Economic Scientific Research Institute (The ESRI) was represented by a senior research fellow of the Quality Control and Planning Department, Shukur Guliyev, a senior research fellow of the Department for the Analysis of Economic Development Policy, Elsever Latfili, research fellow of Local and International Cooperation Department, Vugar Abbasov and research fellow of the Department for the Analysis of Macroeconomic Policy, Afraim Mammadov.

During the session,  significant issues on the agenda of the UNECE Committee on Innovation, Competitiveness, and Public-Private Partnerships,  including strengthening of public-private partnerships for the expedition of digital and green transformation, increasing the role of women, development of innovation and infrastructure projects towards SDGs,  as well as the work plan for 2023-2025 years were discussed.

Additionally, during the session, a decision was made to hold the 9th International Public-Private Partnership Forum in Baku in 2025.
