From the 28th to 29th of November of 2023, an international conference on the topic “Long-term trends in changes in the welfare of the population of Russian and CIS countries” with the organization of “Higher School of Economics” of National Research University under the International Professional Statistics Education Institute took place in Moscow, Russia.
The ESRI was represented at the conference by a research fellow of the Department for the Analysis of Digitalization, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Policy, Gunash Kamzaevi, and a junior research fellow of the Department of Economic Modelling, Statistics and Data Analytics, Lala Taghiyeva.
During the conference, the materials of international comparisons of The Council for Mutual Economic Assistance from 1960 to 1980 based on the parity of the buying capacity of currencies could serve as a basis for building the ranking during the international comparative history of member countries of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance were discussed.
