The eighth issue of the ECO Economic Journal where the ESRI is the editor-in-chief was published in Baku.
The latest issue of the ECO Economic Journal where the ESRI is the editor-in-chief features articles by authors from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Ukraine.

The eighth issue of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Economic Journal was published in Baku, the editor-in-chief of which is the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI).

The journal features 15 articles by authors from Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Ukraine. ECO Secretary General Khusrav Nozir also contributed to this issue of the journal with his article.

In connection with Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the ECO this year, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote the foreword to this issue of the journal.

The articles in this issue of the journal covered a wide range of topics, such as analytical review and trends in socio-economic development, regional integration, economic potential and activities of ECO countries, global economic challenges and their impact on the region, economic cooperation, import-export, infrastructure, digitalization.

It should be noted that for further recognition in the international scientific and practical environment, ESRI has taken several measures to adapt the 8th issue of the journal to the IMRaD standard (introduction, methods, results and discussion). In addition, deadlines for submitting articles were determined, requirements for their design and rules for authors were prepared, and a database of external reviewers was created. Furthermore, to comply with international standards and increase the reliability of the journal, an ISSN was acquired.
