On December 26, 2023, at the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Türkiye, a meeting was held with an employee of the Ankara Center for Crisis and Political Studies (ANKASAM) Dogacan Basaran, the winner of the national and international competition of scientific and practical articles entitled “A state with a strong economy is capable of anything”, announced by the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) in accordance with the Action Plan developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated September 29, 2022 declaring 2023 the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”.

The meeting was attended by the leading research fellow of the quality control and planning department of the ESRI Shukur Guliyev, the protocol adviser to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Türkiye Elkhan Zeynalov and the second secretary for economic issues Suliddin Mammadov.

During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on the unprecedented services of the national leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev to Azerbaijan, his contribution to the economy of Azerbaijan, as well as the economic and institutional reforms he carried out.

At the end, D. Basharan was presented with a certificate and gifts for winning the competition.
