On 14 October 20222, a preliminary discussion of the Ph.D. dissertation works took place at ESRI.

Dissertation work by Ph.D. candidate Nurlan Elshan Hajiyev, specializing in 5312.01 - the Sectoral Economics, on the "Improvement of the Organizational-Economic Mechanism of Technical Regulation in Energy Infrastructure", as well as the dissertation work by Ph.D. Candidate, Orkhan Zahit Suleyman, specializing in 5306.01 - "Technological Innovation Economy" on "The Improvement of Innovative Industrial Management in the Republic of Azerbaijan" passed the preliminary discussion stage and was recommended for the next stage of defense.
