A meeting was held between representatives of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) and representatives of Bloomberg LP, one of the world's leading economic news agencies.
At the meeting, ESRI representatives provided detailed information about ESRI's history, activities and recent projects.
In turn, regional representatives of Bloomberg LP – Manager for Central & Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Business Arek Osinski, Relationship Manager Bulat Yusupov and Account Manager Anna Shirshova, spoke about the projects that they plan to implement in Azerbaijan, their desire to cooperate with ESRI within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29). Representatives noted that they are interested in collaborating with ESRI in a number of areas, such as green energy transfer, improving financial markets, Fintech, etc.
The Chairman of the Board of the ESRI Mahir Humbatov emphasized that in addition to the mentioned issues, it is also possible to carry out work on data collection and analysis, joint research, events and training in the areas of sustainable development, economic reforms and a number of other areas in the territories liberated from occupation.
The parties agreed to consider cooperation opportunities to implement a number of joint projects in 2024.
