On June 2-3, 2022, the defense of thesis works of students graduating with a bachelor degree from the Department of Economics was held at the Baku branch of Moscow State University (MSU) named after M.V. Lomonosov.

The thesis defense is traditionally held with the participation of both MSU and local faculty and scientists. Along with other members, Deputy Director of the Economic Scientific Research Institute, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Arzu Huseynova also participated as a representative of the Ministry of Economy in the State Examination Commission established in this regard. On the first day of the defense, 7 and on the second day 6 thesis works were presented and discussed.
