On May 3, 2024, a meeting was held with Deputy Secretary General of Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Jandos Asanov at the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI). During the meeting, the current status of the "Economic" journal of the ECO was discussed, and information was given about the article acceptance process. Also, the ECO Deputy Secretary General was informed about ESRI's preparations for the "3rd ECO Think Tanks Forum" to be hosted by Azerbaijan. Another important topic discussed at the meeting was related to the measures to be taken to achieve the ratification of the countries that have signed the Charter of the ECO Research Center. As a result of the discussions, it was agreed to bring up the issue of establishing the Research Center again and to start implementing work in this direction.
