On June 5, 2024, the 7th meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Permanent Steering Committee on Economic Research (EPSCER) was held online.
At the meeting chaired by Dolores Tyulebekova, Director of the World Economy Research Centre of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) was represented by First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Professor Arzu Huseynova and Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations Sabina Mammadli.
In the course of the meeting, the works aimed at the establishment of the ECO Research Center (ERC) in Baku were discussed. Views were also exchanged on the new 9th issue of the ECO Economic Journal, edited by the ESRI.
At the meeting, ECO Deputy Secretary General J. Asanov and S. Mammadli respectively informed the meeting participants about the 3rd ECO Think Tanks Forums to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
