An online meeting was held between the representatives of ESRI and Türkiye’s Center for Eurasian Studies

On September 9, an online discussion took place between the representatives of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) and Türkiye’s Center for Eurasian Studies (AVIM) on the topic of “The Opportunities and Challenges of Regional Economic Integration in the Caucasus Amidst Current Political Tensions and Historical Disputes".

During the meeting, representatives from both institutions shared their thoughts on the existing challenges to expanding economic integration, particularly between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, and discussed potential solutions.

The meeting also covered possible future initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between ESRI and AVIM. It was agreed to continue this collaboration by organizing joint webinars, exchanging research studies, and intensifying discussions on various topics through future meetings.

It should be noted that a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between ESRI and AVIM was signed in Ankara, Türkiye, in December of last year.
