The Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) launched a training program

On October 15th, 2022, ESRI launched a training program on research methods and digital skills under a grant project on joint cooperation between "British Petroleum" and Ekvita for the implementation of article 14th  of 2022 Road Map of the subgroup on "Development of international rating indicators for scientific publications" (H index) of the “Technology and Innovation” working group of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as for the development of digital skills of researchers.

The 30-day training program to be completed by the end of the year is scheduled to take place four times a week for Ph.D. holders of higher educational institutions and interested representatives selected by the Ministry of Education. It is envisaged that representatives of Baku State University, Azerbaijan Technical University, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Baku Engineering University, Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Agricultural Research Centre, and the ESRI will participate in the training.

During the training, Arzu Huseynova, Ph.D. in Economics and first deputy chair of the Board of Directors of the ESRI will deliver training on the "Research Methods," and Emin Garibli, an economist, head of the Department on Secondary Education of the Distance, Part-time and Secondary Education of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, will deliver the module on "Procedures for Registration in International Databases.

At the end of the training program, participants will be awarded with relevant certificates.
