On January 30, 2025, a virtual meeting was held between the Digital Economy and Innovations Department of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI) and the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The head of the department, Manaf Bagir-zade, and the employees of the department participated in the meeting. During the meeting, both parties held detailed discussions on the impact of artificial intelligence on the economy. In addition, an exchange of views took place regarding potential opportunities for future cooperation.
