On the 18th of November 2022, an online meeting was held between the Economic Scientific Research Institute and the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the themes of the projects to be submitted jointly to the announced grant competition for Azerbaijani and Uzbek universities, research centers and scientific institutions were discussed.

In the end, research topics for the conduction of joint research suitable for the priority directions of both countries for 2022-2026 were identified.
