Road Asset Management hybrid seminar with the joint organization of the CAREC Institute and Asian Development Bank (ADB) was organized in Azerbaijan from the 6th to the 9th of September, 2022. The main goal of the seminar was to build the capacity and knowledge of the leading road asset management specialists, including senior officials and experts with great experience in the road sector, road departments, consultants, and RAM researchers.

The multisession seminars were designed based on the assessment of RAM maturity of the CAREC Institute of CAREC countries and the developed action plan which was implemented in 2021. During the seminar which lasted for 4 days, international experts made presentations on RAM, joint and extensive discussions were held with the participants of the seminar and the questions of interest were addressed by the experts. 

The seminar was attended by specialists representing different state agencies. The aforementioned seminar was attended by Senior Research Fellow of the Field Analysis of Economy department of the ESRI, Emil Gasimov, Senior Research Fellow of the Analysis of the Entrepreneurship Policy of the ESRI, Ulkar Salifova and Junior Research Fellow from the same department Karim Hajiyev, Research Fellow of the Analysis of Macroeconomic Policy Department, Nigar Alasgarova and Junior Research Fellow of Local and International Cooperation Department of the ESRI, Shahla Babayeva.  Representatives of the ESRI also addressed their questions and participated in joint discussions.

Upon completion, the participants were presented with awards and participation certificates.
