Since the 26th of April, 2022, with the organizational support of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (“ESRI”) trainings for successful managers as part of the competition held within the framework of “German – Azerbaijani joint program to improve the skills of managers in Azerbaijan’s business community” were held by Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), German Agency for International Cooperation (“GIZ”) and German training centers. 28 entrepreneurs and managers participated in the trainings.

It should be noted that the program, has been implemented since 2009 based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany aims to expose Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to international experience in the field of business and build their capacity and knowledge.

So far, 500 entrepreneurs and managers operating in various sectors of the economy have received free professional development courses and gained experience at German training centers.
