Representatives of the Economic Scientific Research Institute (ESRI), First Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors, Arzu Huseynova, and Leading Research Fellow Tarana Salifova took part in the second meeting of “The Working Group on the Development of Digital Economy Strategy” established to implement article 1.1.8.1 of the Plan of Actions of the Social and Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the years of 2022-2026 approved with the executive order #3378 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22nd of July, 2022. 

During the meeting the parties discussed the definition of a digital economy, vision and goals, comparative diagnostics of digital economy, digital economy for Azerbaijan and the next steps in this direction.
