Economic Scientific Research Institute organized a presentation of books “Digital Economy: Thesaurus”, a contribution to the enlightenment in Azerbaijan language, and “Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System: Methodological Recommendations.”
Presentation of the books “Digital Economy: Thesaurus” by First Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the ESRI, doctor of economic sciences, Arzu Huseynova and “Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System: Methodological Recommendations” by Research Fellow of the Department of Analysis of the Economic Development Policy of the ESRI, recipient of the medals by the executive order of the head of state “For the Liberation of Fuzuli”, “For the Liberation of Khojavand” and “For the Liberation of Jabrayil”, Faig Gasimli took place. Respective scholars and field specialists attended the event.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the ESRI, Mahir Humbatov noted that though the books deal with different topics both are estimated to provide contribution to the enlightenment in respect of economic knowledge in Azerbaijani language. “Digital Economy: Thesaurus” includes 600 economic terms. The book consists of four parts: Thesaurus of the terms on digital economy in Azerbaijani, English – Azerbaijani, Russian – Azerbaijani and Azerbaijani – English – Russian dictionaries of the same terms.
Based on the most progressive international experience “Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation System: “Methodological Recommendations” book provides clear concepts of monitoring and evaluation and gives practical examples for the development of the system with different application tools. The book was structured in such a way that it started from the diagnostics of the general situation of the monitoring and evaluation in the respective field and dwelled on the necessary activities to provide for the sustainability of the system.
The event featured discussions on the issues covered in the books which followed by the QA session.
