In between 1931 and 1936 he studied at Azerbaijan National Economic Institute named after K. Marx. In 1936 he was appointed to the post of a director of “Baku Statistics Technical School” and concurrently worked as a professor at the Azerbaijan State National Economic Institute named after K. Marx. In between 1953 and 1958 he served as a director of the “Accounting “department/school at Azerbaijan National Economic Institute named after K. Marx. In 1954 he defended his candidacy dissertation at Tbilisi State University. From 1958 to 1961 he served as an assistant professor at Baku Supreme Party School, in between 1961 and 1965 he worked as deputy dean at the department of economy.  In 1965 he was appointed as the first director of the newly established Scientific Research Economic Institute (current Economic Scientific Research Institute) under the Azerbaijan SSR State Planning Committee. Since 1969 he worked as a head of department and assistant professor at Azerbaijan National Economic Institute named after D.Bunyadzade.

He passed away on January 23rd of 1990.
