A report entitled “New Generation Economy Index 2025” has been prepared by the Institute for Economic Scientific Research.

The main objective of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis of macroeconomic indicators among global centers of economic power—on one side China, India, and Russia, and on the other the United States, the European Union, and the United Kingdom.

The purpose of the study is to develop proposals to support the application of a cluster approach in the sericulture and silk industry based on an analysis of international experience. The object of the study is the sericulture and silk industry.

Within the framework of the study, the possibilities of identifying new products that could be produced domestically were mainly examined using the Economic Complexity Index. For this purpose, trade data at the six-digit classification code level were collected and processed at the country level.

Within the framework of the study, international experience in monitoring the real sector was examined, and it was determined that monitoring indicators should be organized in terms of economic sectors and their operations, as well as intra-sectoral and inter-sectoral flows and stocks.

The purpose of the work is to contribute to achieving the economic development of the “East Zangezur” and “Karabakh” economic regions, which were completely destroyed during the 30-year occupation period, as well as to the restoration of infrastructure, the resettlement of the population, and the provision of employment for the resettled population.
